Boat Service Tracker — Support
A person reads every message, usually within a day or two. Tell us your phone (iPhone or Android) and what you were doing — a screenshot helps.
Moving to a new phone
In the app, open Settings › Backup & restore › Create backup. The backup is one file with every boat, service, fill-up and photo; save it to Files, iCloud Drive or Google Drive, or email it to yourself. On the new phone, install the app and tap Moving phones? Restore a backup on the first screen (or Settings › Backup & restore). Backups work between iPhone and Android.
Pro and purchases
- Restore Pro on a new phone or after reinstalling: Settings › Restore purchases, signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you bought it with.
- Cancel or change a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account (Settings › Manage subscription takes you there). To avoid a renewal charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period or free trial ends.
- Refunds are handled by the store you paid: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through your Play order history.
Reminders not arriving
Check that notifications are allowed for Boat Service Tracker in your phone's settings, and that reminders are on in the app's Settings. Reminders for items due by engine hours depend on the hour meter: update the hours now and then (the app can nudge you to).
Something looks wrong in the schedule
Each item counts from when it was last done. Open the item to set that date (and the hours, if you know them), or log the service. Intervals are common starting points for each engine type — change any of them to match your engine's manual.
